People often seek counseling when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or are looking for new direction in their lives. In my work, the goal is to develop clarity together, better understand challenging situations, and explore new possibilities for moving forward.

My name is Ema, and I work as a counselor with a background in social pedagogy, psychology, and intercultural studies. My Master's degree in Social Pedagogy, Ethnology, and Anthropology allows me to take a broad perspective on personal life situations, relationships, and social contexts.

Professionally, I have worked in various areas of social work, including kindergartens (also in leadership positions), a children’s residential group homes, and in family and youth support services. In these fields, I accompanied people in challenging life situations and learned how important a safe space for reflection and personal development can be.

Alongside my practical work, I am also a lecturer at a university, teaching in the fields of psychology, social work, and education. In my teaching, I combine academic knowledge with practical experience from different areas of social work, psychology and pedagogy.

My counseling approach is respectful, supportive, and solution-oriented. I work with methods from systemic counseling and positive psychology.

It is important to me that people feel understood during the counseling process and that we develop steps together that are realistic and meaningful in everyday life.
